Where hope lives

Hilltop Christian Community - Where Hope Lives.

Hilltop Christian Community Development Corporation (HCCDC) is a private, non-profit community development organization addressing the felt needs of people in the Hilltop community, an extremely poor, racially diverse neighborhood on the near west side of Columbus, Ohio.

HCCDC was established by Upper Arlington Lutheran Church to provide financial heavy lifting - money and personnel beyond the scope of the church, especially in the areas of housing, jobs, and youth recreation and education - so that as people associated with the church begin to change in Jesus, we can better support that change.

We are dedicated to a holistically restored Hilltop neighborhood: a Christian community fully engaged in the process of transformation.

Hilltop Prime Time

Children are the future. Our 15-year vision for the Hilltop neighborhood is children returning to the community after earning technical school or college degrees, and continuing the transformation. Initial efforts have focused on an after school program, and a preschool is in development.
